Salvation and Eternal Life

What is salvation?

Salvation in Latin “To Save”, deliverance, help, rescue, recovery and restoration.

Who can receive it?

It is a matter of faith and acting out on what you believe according to God’s Word.

Salvation is a gift that is made available to all who repent believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind

This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being a “good person”.

For God so loved the world He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

When can I Receive Salvation?

As soon as you recognize/admit that you are a Sinner: Because of Adam’s sin of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, all of humanity was affected by, and infected with sin.

Making new and better decisions in your life.

Repentance does not ask for forgiveness of your sins, turning away from ungodly living and submitting to God's will for your life.

In what manner?

Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior: Confession affirms Jesus’ lordship (place of authority) over your life. Confess that He is your Lord and believe that He lived, died and was raised from the dead for the forgiveness of your sins. (Rom 10:9), (Luke 16:16) One you receive the King you must believe in His Kingdom (The Body of Christ)

Then What?

Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit: You are now sealed and preserved by God’s Spirit. (Eph. 1:13) His Spirit in you is your guarantee. (2 Cor. 1:22) The same Spirit and power Jesus had now dwells in you. (John 14:16-17), (2 Tim. 1:7) Once you accept Jesus you receive the free Gift of His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)

Obey the Word of God: Maintaining your salvation and enjoying its benefits is done by living according to God’s Word (Proverbs 3:1-4; 1 John 5:3). Make His Word the Final authority by which you live. Make sure every decision you make in life is biblically based. The Word must be your foundation.

Every believer needs to be equipped and carry his or her spiritual sword-the Bible

You owe it to yourself to invest in your new future.

Why should I receive Salvation?

It is God’s desire that All men be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

It is also God’s will to dwell in his people by His Holy Spirit

You will receive Present Help From God

You will also receive power, love and clarity
